Laure Le Bars is a Research Project Director at SAP Strategic Research & Innovation, working on several projects like Big Data Value Association, Smart Data Innovation Lab, EIT ICT Labs or Academy Cube.

Before that, she was the Managing Director of SAP Labs Hungary between 2005 and 2007. She was also the Managing Director of SAP Labs Canada since its inception in January 1998 until 2008. She joined SAP Canada as a development consultant at the beginning of 1995 and was responsible for establishing the Montreal Labs.

Laure Le Bars holds degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l’Industrie et l'Entreprise, Groupe Centrale, Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, in France. Her thesis dealt with Operation Research at GERAD (Groupe d'études et de recherche en analyse des décisions) in Montreal.
