Rickard Domeij is working with language planning and policy at the Swedish Language Council as an expert in language technology. The Language Council analyses the language situation in Sweden, monitors the implementation of the Language Act, and encourages the use of plain language and accessible information by public agencies. In his work Rickard focuses on promoting the development of language technology and infrastructure for the languages in Sweden. He has a Ph. D. in computational linguistics from Stockholm University.
